Carmel and 17 Mile Drive
Monte and I like to go to Carmel often. It's probably one of the prettiest coastlines in the world, and there are many interesting things to see along the way. Here you see the Lone Cypress on the 17 mile drive.
Here, Monte and Me had to get our picture taken on the 18th Green at the Pebble Beach Golf Course.
This was taken on Ocean Drive in Monterey on the way to 17 Mile Drive.
Emma and Monte Ocean Drive is a great place to see just how pretty the world can be. You drive along the ocean right at its edge and can see a lot of really great things.
You can see seals playing in the water and resting on the rocks. There is a lot of different kinds of birds you can see.
Monte could sit for hours at the waters edge and watch seals, Every time one would move he would shake from excitement.
Along the way are great spots to look at tide pools at load tide.
Life is abundant in these pools and we really take our time looking here!
Monte has a lot of fun looking but on this day he found what not to smell.
Monte thought this crab was great crawling around the rocks. Well he didn't think it was too great when he got too close and tried to smell him......OUCH!!
