Monte and Me at Death Valley Park and Mono Lake in California

This was some of the flowers on the valley floor at the south end of Death Valley park
Because of all the rains this year the wildflowers in the valley were everywhere.
This is at the south end of Mono lake. In a few years you will probably not be able to see this because they are filling the lake back up and the following pictures will be under water.
Yes that is snow at Mono Lake. During the summer the temperatures are very hot but this the snow pack in the sierra mountains has set records.
