On 3/1/2000 Monte, Emma and I went on an drive to look for the early wildflowers in the area. We started in Campbell, California and ended in Morgan Hill, California.
California Poppies are just starting in the area.
This little flower was about an inch across.
Another big flower. Yes, those are blades of grass. Small but pretty!

On the picture on the right the fields were solid yellow with flowers. Very pretty.
Monte ran and jumped in the flowers and had a great time. We all had a big day and ended up going to bed early. As I look back The day was almost perfect.
As the spring goes by we plan to see a lot of flowers and animals and we will share pictures with you.
